LITERACY
Students study, use and enjoy language and literature, communicated orally, visually or in writing.NUMERACY
Students explore relationships in quantities, space and data and learn to express these relationships in ways that help them to make sense of the world around them.
SCIENCE
Students generate and test ideas and observe, investigate and model in order to develop scientific knowledge, understanding, and explanations
TE REO MAORI
Maori language and culture are an important part of our curriculum. The language is integrated into our learning programmes and all classes also work with a kaiawhina once a week to further develop their knowledge and understanding.   

Our Kapa Haka group practices each week and all students are able to take part.  Each term the students learn a variety of waiata and haka. Our Kapa Haka group take part in local performances for the school and at special events.

HEALTH & PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Students learn how to support their own well-being and that of others and society, exploring these in health related and movement contexts.

SOCIAL SCIENCES
Students explore how societies work and how they can participate and take action as critical, informed and responsible citizens.

TECHNOLOGY
Students explore how people intervene in the world by developing products, systems and environments to expand their possibilities.

THE ARTS – VISUAL ARTS, MUSIC, DRAMA, DANCE

Students discover how to use their senses, imagination, thinking, and feelings as the stimulus for creative action and response.
